INJURY UPDATE | JAMES DONALDSON

Bradford Bulls can confirm James Donaldson sustained an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury against Doncaster earlier this month, ruling him out for the remainder of the 2025 season.

The 33-year-old returned to the club in the off season, scoring in his first two competitive fixtures against Doncaster RLFC and Castleford Tigers. 

Head coach Brian Noble, who is sponsored by Paints & Lacquers, said: 

“We’re all obviously incredibly disappointed for Donno, he has shown great commitment to making a difference to us since returning and had done so in the time he has spent on the field. 

“Ultimately his 2025 season is now over, however, we know just how valuable James is to our group and he will remain a key part of our group for the remainder of the year.”

We wish Donno all the best with his recovery and will be supporting him all the way through. We look forward to seeing him back in a Bradford shirt in the future.
